Setting up wiki

mediawikiLast week, I asked my friend to look for a collaboration system and he come out with MediaWiki which is written in PHP programming language and can use either MySQL or PostgreSQL RDBMS. It is the the wiki engine used on Wikipedia.

Installed on company wiki but does not really fulfilled what I want. We want to be able to restrict certain pages. With MediaWiki, if I allow access, I can’t restrict any pages and vice versa.

I was considering using TWiki which uses Perl, flat-file data storage with RCS (Revision Control System) or WikkaWiki which coded in PHP on MySQL RDBMS. I might go for WikkaWiki.
